• 1. A late Wedding Breakfast, to which all your guests are invited, followed by dancing. You may wish to offer some refreshment later in the evening in addition to the Wedding Breakfast.
  
  
• 2. An afternoon Wedding Reception with additional guests invited to a buffet and dance, the buffet being served to all guests. If you hold an afternoon reception and an evening dance but do not offer substantial refreshment to your evening guests we will charge for the hire of the banqueting room in the evening.

We offer two buffet menus but if these do not meet your needs we would be pleased to discuss any other ideas which you may have.

If you opt for an afternoon reception and are inviting more guests in the evening we would suggest that they are invited to arrive at Shap Wells between 7:30pm and 8:00pm. The dancing may commence at about 8:00pm with a break for the buffet between 9:00pm and 9:30pm. In our experience evening receptions are best if they finish between 12:30am and 1:00am.
